During my time at Action Manufacturing I designed a number of light commercial vehicles on this platform. Following on from the TNT delivery vehicles, we developed a ‘curved roof’ platform which has huge fuel efficiency advantages. At the time I was lead designer for this project. I conducted all user research, early 2D and 3D design ideation and development, CAD rendering for client presentations through to CAD surface release of fibreglass mouldings. The curved roof tooling and mouldings I designed were also later used on some of the motorhome designs built at the Auckland factory.

After leaving Action Manufacturing the team have progressed the design further, however the work I did early on with these projects can still be seen in the design today.
